Since the dawn of the internet people have been making money on line. The market actually continues to grow with each coming year.

Selling on line has really exploded over the last 15 years with sites like e-bay, amazon, and many others. The potential for income on the internet is literally endless.

I have know that there is money to be made on line for a long time. A guy I knew growing up started selling car parts on e-bay and became a very successful entrepreneur doing this.

Then my brother started making on line text-based multi player games and is earning a full time income now doing this.

I always knew it was possible to make money on line, but I didn't know how I could make money on line. I don't know anything about cars. I don't know how to make websites. My skill set was limited. Then I discovered affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is essentially promoting other people's products on line to make money on a commission basis for everything sold.

Some companies will pay up to 75% commission on the total sale. This is pretty remarkable. The trouble I ran into when I first started is that there are thousands upon thousands of people who are making money on line by selling a "make money on line myth".

There is one make money on line myth that is prevalent in a lot of this products. It is the make money on line myth that says, "after you buy this product you will make tons of money right away". This "make money on line myth" is too good to be true and therefore will not work.

The truth is, you can make money on line. However, it is not easy and do not expect to be an overnight success. I like to think that you really need to go to school first. Read, learn, study, practice over and over again until you get it right. Then you will start to see sales pouring in. There are many things that they don't warn you about that if you don't do correctly will cost you in the end. Don't believe the make money on line myth that you will be an overnight success and don't believe the make money on line myth that says there is no work involved. The people who believe this are the ones who fail in this business.

If you truly want financial freedom and to be able to fire your boss. You are going to have to work your butt off. In the end, it will all be worth it.
